Derek Bell in the McLaren M9A four-wheel drive (the only time the car was used) at Silverstone.
Bell retired from the race due to to suspension failure.
Bell was a highly successful sportscar racer, winning Le Mans five times, the Daytona 24 three times and the World Sportscar Championship twice.
