Considered one of the greatest water poloists of all time, Estiarte would compete in six Olympics and was the competition's leading goal scorer in 1980, 1984, 1988, and 1992, winning a silver medal in 1992 and a gold medal in 1996.
He is a lifelong friend and close advisior to football manager Pep Guardiola, acting as his administrative assistant at Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City

Kolobkov was appointed Russian Minister of Sport in October 2016. His predecessor Vitaly Mutko had been implicated in the state-sponsored doping detailed in the World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) Independent Commission. Kolobkov himself, as Deputy Sports Minister, had been barred from Wada's Foundation Board due to Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) being declared non-compliant with the WADA code.
