Harry Makepeace & Nigel Howard - Lancashire C. C. C

Cricket - 1947 season
Lancashires Harold Harry Makepeace, left, and Nigel Howard.
Makepeace played 487 first-class games for Lancashire between 1906 and 1930, scoring 25207 runs and making 42 centuries. He played four tests for England during the 1920/1 Ashes series. He is one of only twelve England Double Internationals for cricket/football (alongside his Lancashire and Everton teammate Jack Sharp).
