Broken neck incident: Man City goalkeeper Bert Trautmann dives at the feet of Peter Murphy at Wembley.
Trautmann was briefly knocked unconscious in the collision, but played on for the final fifteen minutes, making several crucial saves. After the match it transpired that he had actually broken his neck.
