Moseley lock Nigel Horton walks off the Twickenham field after being sent off for punching in the third minute of the game by referee Ron Lewis. He was the first player to be sent off in a major match at Twickenham since 1925.
This game was the inaugural final of the first national club knock-out competition staged by the Rugby Football Union
