Speed Skating - 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics - Womens 1000m Medal Presentation
East Germanys gold medal winner Christa Rothenburger Luding (gold), with compatriot Karin Enke-Kania, who won the silver, at the Olympic Oval, Calgary, Canada.
Rothenburger won the gold medal in a new World Record, she also won a silver medal in the 500m.
Later that year Rothenburger won a silver medal in sprint cycling at the Seoul Olympics, becoming the first woman to win medals in both the Winter and Summer Olympics.
