George Kay - West Ham United
Football - 1922 / 1923 season - West Ham United Team Group
Centre-half and captain George Kay. He led the side in that seasons FA Cup Final, the famous White Horse Final, the first to be played at Wembley, which was lost 2-0 to Bolton Wanderers.
Kay later went into management with Luton Town, Southampton and Liverpool. He was also the first Englishman to captain the Irish league in a representative match while playing for Belfast Distillery
