Japans Mitsuo Tsukahara in action in the Sports Hall, Olympic Park, Munich West Germany.
At the 1972 Games Tsukahara won golds on the horizontal bar and as part of the team all-around competition and a bronze on the rings.
He won a mens team gold in Mexico City in 1968; he won a third team gold in Montreal in 1976, as well as another gold on the horizontal bars, a silver in the horse vault and a bronze in the individual all-around competition and on the parallel bars
